I caught the Tasty video for this recipe, as I was scrolling through my Instagram feed and knew I needed to try it! It is the perfect afternoon, weekend, or vacation drink for the summer!
P E A C H I C E D T E A (w / W H I S K E Y )
- 8 cups – boiling water
- 7 tea bags – black tea
- 1.5 cups – whiskey
- 2 peaches – diced
- 1 cup – sugar
- 1 cup – water
- 1 lemon – juiced
Placed 7 tea bags on bottom of large pitcher and pour 8 cups of boiling water over them. Let steep for 5-10 minutes.
Bring syrup ingredients to a boil, then reduce heat and let simmer for 5 minutes.
Strain syrup to remove diced peaches.
Add syrup and whiskey to tea, and let chill.
Serve over ice, with diced peaches, and a piece of lemon.
